Testing and Repairing
Our Testing and repairing services are crucial in PCB Assembly (PCBA) production to ensure that assembled boards meet quality and functionality standards. Here’s a detailed look at Our services.
Testing Services
Functional Testing
This involves checking if the PCB performs its intended functions as specified in the design. It typically includes powering the board and running software or test routines to verify operational performance.
In-Circuit Testing (ICT)
This method involves using specialized fixtures and test equipment to check the electrical characteristics of individual components on the PCB. It helps detect issues like incorrect component placement, soldering defects, and component failures.
Automated Optical Inspection (AOI)
AOI systems use cameras and image processing software to inspect solder joints, component placements, and other aspects of the PCB. It’s effective for detecting defects such as solder bridges, missing components, or misalignment.
Functional Burn-In Testing
This test subjects the PCB to extended periods of operation under normal or elevated stress conditions to identify potential reliability issues that may not be apparent in shorter tests.
Aging and Heat Test
our PCBA go through from aging and heat test to make sure the durability of components and the long life of products. We also provide 4KV testing for our PCBA specially for Fan Industry.
Repairing Services
Rework
This includes correcting issues identified during testing, such as replacing defective components, re-soldering joints, or fixing misalignments. Rework can be done manually or with our automated equipment, depending on the complexity and scale.
Component Replacement
Faulty components detected during testing are desoldered and replaced with new ones. This process requires precision to avoid damaging the PCB or surrounding components.
Soldering Repairs
Issues like solder bridges or cold solder joints are addressed by reapplying solder or using soldering tools to correct defects. Techniques such as hot-air reflow or solder wick are often used.
Diagnosis and Troubleshooting
Identifying the root cause of problems through detailed analysis, which may involve circuit analysis, signal tracing, and reviewing test results. Effective troubleshooting helps ensure accurate repairs and improves overall board reliability.
Post-Repair Testing
After repairs are completed, the PCB undergoes additional testing to verify that the issues have been resolved and that the board meets all quality standards.
Testing and repairing
Testing and repairing services are integral to maintaining the reliability and functionality of PCBs in production. They help identify and address defects, ensuring that the final products meet performance and quality requirements.
